WE HAVE ARRIVED
We started serving our sourdough pizza in Brixton Market in 2008, and now Franco Manca has arrived in the Midlands. You’ll find us on Bennett’s Hill, a short walk from the Bull Ring. Our new Birmingham pizzeria used to be a bank, where you can now enjoy the riches of sourdough pizza. Interest rates are rising.
For the first two weeks all (ALL!) our pizzas will be just £5 (Thursday 6th June – Thursday 20th June 2019) when you dine in. Yes we are trying to get you hooked. No, we’re not sorry.
If that’s not tempting enough, for every pizza we sell in those two weeks, we’ll donate one to the homeless and those most in need. Food banks, charities and shelters, this is your chance to help. Let us know who we should support by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Last year we donated thousands of pizzas to those in need. Find out more about how we can help.
The art on our walls has always been a big part of our pizza experience. Our pizzerias are covered in the work of the late Enzo Apicella and Paul Davis, an artist and the creator of our Franco Manca logo.
We launched ‘The Enzo Project’ to translate a bit of their genius to the next generation of artists. Morgan Grice, a second year student studying Illustration at Birmingham University, created the art which hangs on the walls of our Birmingham pizzeria next to Enzo’s. We think her work is fantastic. Check it out over sourdough.
Introducing local beers
Our guest beer in Birmingham is from Froth Blowers Brewing Company. They’re an independent, family-run microbrewery in Erdington, Birmingham and have been brewing there since 2013. On our menu you’ll find Piffle Snonker – a pale ale with a floral nose, slightly sweet with a bitter finish. A ‘Piffle Snonker’ was a sceptre used to keep order at the meetings of The Ancient Order of Froth Blowers 1924-1931.
