Enzo Coccia is a renowned chef, based in Naples. Born to a family dedicated to catering and pizzerias, making pizza has been part of his life from a young age. He learnt to make sourdough with his Nonna (grandmother), who had been making pizza and bread this way since 1932. He then started his first job as a pizzaiolo when he was just 15 years old.

Enzo has a passion for making traditional Neapolitan pizza using products of exceptional quality.

He lives in Naples, where he runs the world famous La Notizia restaurant. It was the first pizzeria to be recognised by the Michelin Guide. He also founded ‘Pizza Consulting’ in 2000, where he runs workshops to teach the art of traditional Neapolitan pizza. These are run around the world, where artisans train pizzaioli, and offer professional support to entrepreneurs who want to start their own pizza businesses.

Enzo considers it the greatest honour to convey the warmth and friendliness of Italy throughout the world, offering the best of Campania through his pizzas. Now, for a short time only, pizza devotees can try his food in the UK. He has created our new No.7.

Our new No.7 pizza has been created using ingredients found in the Campania region of Italy. It features traditional Neapolitan pork salami, friarielli (wild broccoli) from Campania, as well as a base of San Marzano DOP tomatoes from Dell’Agro Sarnese Nocerino, and our British mozzarella.
